Teamcenter – SCIP Integration

From January 5, 2021, all manufacturers and suppliers of all REACH products in the EU are obliged to register. The entry is made in the so-called SCIP database.  Information must be provided if articles contain more than 0.1 percent by mass of a substance of very high concern on the REACH candidate list according to Article 33 of the REACH Regulation. Data should be made available through the SCIP DB to waste management companies and consumers.

The following information must be submitted to the SCIP database if you are an importer/retailer, producer or assembler placing a product containing SVHC on the European market:

  • The article containing the SVHC (article no.).
  • Name of the SVHC, concentration and the location in the article.
  • Optional: Information for safe use, disassembly instructions, pictures.

The Nexpirit Teamcenter – SCIP integration enables bidirectional communication between your PLM system and the SCIP database. This allows your product BOMs to be automatically transferred to SCIP as dossiers.

Contact us and we will support you in complying with your reporting obligations.
