What’s the difference between NX™ Sustainability and Sustainability for Teamcenter®?

NX™ enables analysis directly during the design phase. Sustainability extends this across the entire lifecycle, creating a centralized data structure that supports decision-making across departments. Over time, both your material and sustainability data will grow and improve—so your results and reports will become faster and more accurate.

NX™ Sustainability also works as a standalone solution – but its full potential is only realized with Teamcenter® integration. The Sustainability for Teamcenter® module only functions in combination with Siemens Teamcenter® PLM.

  • Values around 20 represent publicly available average data, for example from online sources or unvalidated assumptions.
  • Values from 40 and above are based on recognized databases such as ecoinvent or specific industry standards.
  • Values from 80 and above correspond to fully verified and certified EPDs (Environmental Product Declarations) – sourced directly from your supply chain..
