We want our expertise and solutions in the PLM environment to make a real difference for our customers — and help pave the way toward more sustainable product developmen
We founded Nexpirit in 2020 with one clear mission: to make Product Compliance, material data management, and sustainability accessible, actionable, and intelligent for our customers.
We aim to go beyond isolated solutions. Instead, we bundle our deep expertise into integrated, future-ready approaches — so companies can solve complex challenges more efficiently, effectively, and sustainably. Our approach is built on the combination of thoughtful processes, cutting-edge technologies, strategic foresight, and holistic consulting.
Our Vision
We connect digital technology with visionary thinking to help shape a sustainable and secure future.
With innovation, responsibility, and trust, we create solutions that empower people and businesses to achieve sustainable growth.
"When we were looking for an implementation partner, I was told: If anyone truly understands material data management, material compliance, and sustainability in the PLM space, it’s Nexpirit. And after years of successful collaboration, I can only agree. Their expertise runs deep — I haven’t seen anything like it.”
Alexander Perle, Director IT – CAD/PLM, Leica Geosystems AG, Hexagon Group
Nexpirit was founded by Lucas Dann and Daniel Schott in 2020.
Today, we’re a team of 20+ people — an international group passionate about driving the digital and sustainable transformation of our customers.
"We don’t just want to understand our customers’ requirements – we aim to deliver better solutions than they expect. That’s why I meet our clients where they are and work with them step by step to turn concepts into reality."
"Good planning is half the battle for me. I’m well-organized – both professionally and personally – and I always enjoy it when a plan comes together."
"I take care of the data behind our customer solutions. That means I map our clients’ processes in Teamcenter or NX™ CAD in a way that ensures all material data and content are cleanly available. After that, the system practically runs itself."
"I find it fascinating how different software components interact within Teamcenter – and I code right at the interfaces that hold everything together. I really enjoy developing the 'glue points' between systems."
"Business processes without clear goals and poorly integrated tools quickly lead to frustration. But it doesn’t have to be that way: I connect both worlds in a way that makes them work together seamlessly and with purpose."
“Many companies simply don’t know exactly what their products are made of – yet that’s the foundation for real compliance. I want to guide our clients until they not only meet regulations, but confidently manage their own processes.”
“I want to develop solutions that are easier to implement, simpler to scale, and easier to understand. My goal is for our clients to really know how their solution works – not just that it works.”
“Development is my thing – I love turning complex requirements into easy-to-use solutions. A good day for me is when a new client module runs smoothly without a hitch.”
“I love learning new things – and setting up systems that help our clients work securely and efficiently. What I enjoy most is collaborating directly with subject matter experts when implementing substance compliance.”
"In the past, life cycle assessment was mostly reserved for large corporations and specialized institutions – today, we make it accessible, transparent, and automatable. Sustainability can no longer be a topic for experts only."
"With Nexpirit, we’re finally able to realize what was just a vision ten years ago: not only creating life cycle assessments for existing products and systems, but factoring in environmental impact directly during the design process."
"Our founding idea was to help companies take their first steps into a climate-conscious, data-driven future. What many underestimate is this: without clean master data, clear materials management, and transparent relationships between suppliers and manufacturer parts, even the best AI doesn’t stand a chance..."

Yamuna is a PLM consultant and developer with a keen eye for detail—and a clear goal: to map complex requirements in a structured way and implement them in the system so they actually work.
Originally from India, she now lives with her family near Berlin. Trained as a production engineer with a focus on mechanical engineering and design, she has been working with Siemens Teamcenter® for around 20 years.
She first met Lucas in 2016—and now works with him and the Nexpirit team on international client projects.
Yamuna primarily supports companies in building IMM data structures, and steps in where substance compliance is recognized as a requirement—but no one yet knows how to technically implement it in the system.
Her strength: she combines subject-matter clarity with system understanding—and supports her clients from the initial mapping all the way to a fully functional solution.
Dr.-Ing. Dipl.-Oec. Hannes Krieg is a sustainability expert with scientific depth and a clear mission: to make life cycle assessment (LCA) easily usable—right where it can have the greatest impact—in the development process itself.
Since 2023, he has been supporting us and our clients in integrating sustainability aspects into PLM-supported processes.
His focus lies on the quantitative modeling of environmental impacts: from compiling and validating environmental data and emission factors to building database-supported environmental profiles for materials.
What makes his work special: These data not only provide clients with transparency, but also real freedom of choice—by offering environmentally better alternatives already during the design phase.
When Hannes isn’t creating life cycle assessments, you’ll probably find him surfing in Portugal.
Manuel Lorenz holds a master’s degree in environmental engineering (circular economy and renewable energies) and has been exploring one key question for many years: What is truly sustainable—and what is not?
His approach is both well-founded and practical: with meticulous attention to detail, he analyzes materials, processes, and manufacturing methods, and models life cycle assessments in a way that allows companies to identify and adopt more sustainable alternatives. It’s true expert work—because modeling environmental impacts at this level of detail remains a niche field to this day.
Manuel’s motto: Only those who have reliable data can make meaningful decisions. That’s exactly why Manuel is committed to integrating sustainability into the design process right from the start.
When Manuel isn’t analyzing environmental footprints, you’ll find him where the waves are high: surfing with his family or actively supporting environmental protection and sustainable agriculture.
“…Because AI is not a cure-all—it is only as good as the data it works with. When used correctly, it is a central building block for reducing CO₂ emissions. But for that, a reliable data foundation is needed: structured bills of materials, clearly defined processes, and well-integrated PLM and ERP systems.”
Lucas Dann likes to think big—and precise.
As a mechanical engineer, he sees the Digital Twin as the key to forward-looking engineering. Since 2010, he has been active in product lifecycle management, engineering, and product compliance, and few can combine technical depth with entrepreneurial vision as well as he does.
Whether consulting or implementing in complex PLM environments, Lucas inspires customers worldwide with his holistic approach and his ability to turn visions into reality step by step.
And when he’s not optimizing product structures, you’ll find him out riding his show jumpers, walking his dog with a headset—or simply spending time with his family and his young daughter.
