Where Research Meets Practice: Nexpirit in the OntOMat Project
Fiber-reinforced composites are found in wind turbines, aircraft, and modern 3D-printed parts – yet their development is complex and data-intensive. In the OntOMat project, we are building an ontology-based knowledge database together with Fraunhofer IWM, DLR, and other partners. Our contribution: a lifecycle-spanning digital material twin that maps material data and manufacturing processes completely within Teamcenter.
Sustainability Data That’s Truly Comparable: Nexpirit in the Decide4Eco Project
How comparable are CO₂ values from different sources, and how can sustainability data be securely exchanged across complex supply chains? In the Decide4Eco project, we are developing answers to exactly these questions together with PROSTEP, CONTACT Software, and industry partners. Our task: connecting Teamcenter to the Manufacturing-X and Catena-X data ecosystems, so that CO₂ data from suppliers can in future be accessed directly in the PLM.
